At Swagman Farms, we connect customers directly with sustainable farming practices, offering fresh meat from our pasture to your plate. Not only is our meat healthier than the supermarkets, our produce also comes at a significantly more affordable price. Our livestock are grass-fed and have free roam of our property in their natural habitat.

Fresh Meat, Sustainable Farming

We rear Dorper sheep here in The Flaxman Valley. The Dorper Lamb is a fast growing, meat producing breed that thrives in a variety of grazing conditions. Dorpers are highly regarded as a prime lamb producing breed as they are fast maturing with the ability to produce a high quality carcass with excellent conformation and fat distribution. As a hair sheep and not wool, they will shed their own fleece. This means no shearing required so our sheep are under less handling stress.

We process lamb every week. We are currently taking lamb box orders for pick up at the Barossa Valley Farmers Market on the 13th of September. Order online now before the 29th August.

Handmade one off knives

We also make knives at Swagman Farms. Check the website regularly to see if there is a new knife available.

Please note these cannot be made to order as all knives are handmade and uniquely finished as part of the crafting process. Feel free to contact us to see if there are any new knives on their way.
